Untitled Story- Part I

August 24, 2017 By Ayesha Marfani-Muslim Author 3 Comments

‘‘It’’ was roaming with anger, ‘It’ couldn’t tolerate more and wanted to explode at that moment. The frustration was bubbling inside ‘It’. ‘It’ was something significant which never stopped. ‘It’ lived in each room of every house and had three hands and remained busy in moving.

‘It’ was angry because people all around the world charged him with the offence he never committed. ‘It’ was tolerant, but now, when the innocent children and students have victimised ‘It’ making the rage unbearable, it couldn’t bear more pain. ‘It’ wanted to take action; ‘It’ thought on ways to act and got an idea and then felt a bit relaxed and waited to bring his plan to action.

‘It’ very secretly invaded the school building and captured some evidence. ‘It’ accompanied the kids on their way home and to the playground and remained with them till the night to collect some other evidence.

After that ‘It’ waited for the right time. It made for himself two wooden legs and practised to walk. The next day “It” entered the school building again. There was a group of late comers with bowed head. The teacher was angry and inquired of the students for their reason for coming late.

The group of students replied, “Time ran away so quickly, we were trying to catch it.”

The response from the group induced “It” to intervene, and ‘it’ appeared from behind the wall saying angrily, “Let me show your daily rituals to you.”

He showed the captured evidence of students sleeping late, busy in using the internet, smart phone and chatting inside their blankets.

“It” argued, “Why does the world blame me? I am innocent.”

Everyone felt shocked on witnessing a strange walking creature with three hands and all those that were blaming the time felt embarrassed.

To be continued in the next post…
