Untitled Story _ Part II

September 9, 2017 By Ayesha Marfani-Muslim Author 3 Comments

Now ‘It’ hurried to the class where the students were asking the teacher to extend the time for the submission of their project. They pleaded, “Teacher, time is too short to complete this documentary; please extend our time.” ‘It’ appeared again amazing everyone and showed the evidence in which the same kids killed their study time in useless things.”

‘It’ ran here and there and saw some students complaining about their inability to complete the work due to a shortage of time. ‘It’ used different pieces of evidence in which ‘it’ showed how they waste their time in

  • Laptops,
  • WhatsApp,
  • Facebook,
  • Bullying,
  • Gossiping,
  • Exchanging unimportant referrals,
  • Peeping and being conscious about others’ life,
  • Laziness

‘It’ felt sweaty, it was so tired there were so many complain that it felt hopeless.‘It’ was sullen and sulky and half dead, when it saw a boy who was well groomed. ‘It’ knew by the appearance and expression on his face that he is the one that values time. ‘It’ looked with high hopes towards him and approached him for help.

Together they chalked out a great plan. They made fliers and distributed them.

There were fliers everywhere in the town showing the emergence of a creepy creature with three hands and two wooden legs, ever moving, not stopping. The fliers announced that the creepy creature would hold seminar together with Ahmad- a boy who valued ‘IT’. People felt conscious to know about the creepy creature and Ahmad who valued it.

The day of the seminar arrived, and all the town seemed to have erupted out of their curiosity to see the creepy creature that was the hot talk of the town.

Finally, Ahmad appeared and stood confidently behind the rostrum. Ahmad started, “I am a boy who was among those who complained about time couple of years ago, yet one day the desire to become a scientist made me reflect on my life and routine. I realized with this lifestyle, I may never achieve my passion, so I started to value the creepy creature, and from that day I can complete and meet all my plans.”

You might have a question of how I valued the creepy creature. I will share this secret but will for now allow the creepy creature to show you how you are devaluing its importance.
