One day Mr. Ahmed came home from work and told his wife Khadija that he got transferred to the other city. Mr. Ahmed works in a mining company as an IT person. He migrated to Australia 10 years ago from Pakistan along with his wife, their daughter Ayesha was born in Australia in 2010. Ayesha is now 9 years old girl with short black curly hair, whitish complexion. She studies in year four in a local public school in Perth. Ayesha was not very happy with the news which her dad just broke.
One day when Ayesha came back from school she walked into the kitchen and saw that everything was packed up in boxes and there were suitcases everywhere. Ayesha went to her parent’s room and said ‘Why is everything packed up? We are moving house because your dads got a new job and you will go to a new school in Albany, said her mum. Go start packing your stuff we are leaving tomorrow, said, mom.
Next morning the Movers came to move their furniture and other stuff to take it to Albany. After the mover’s truck left, they also left from Perth to go to Albany which is 4 hours drive from Perth. After a few hours of driving, they finally made it to their new house, Ayesha had no idea how the new house looks like. When she first stepped into the new home Ayesha wished she never moved house, she didn’t want to leave her old school in Perth and her friends. Ayesha’s dad told her she would start her new school in two days, but first, they had to get settled in and unpack everything.
Two days later when it was the first day at Albany primary Ayesha’s mum took her to school where she met her new teacher. Ayesha’s teacher was waiting for her at the gate. Mrs. Jillian was very nice she showed Ayesha to the classroom and introduced her to everyone and then gave her a tour of the school. The school was really pretty it had lots of trees, and flowers gardens and tiny insects like ladybugs and caterpillars surrounding the two very big playgrounds. In the first period, Ayesha met a girl called Raniya. Raniya was very kind and would play with Ayesha when the bell rang for the break. After a while, Ayesha went to meet other kids in her class. They were all very nice except for one girl called Somaya. Somaya was very rude and she would not let anybody else talk to Ayesha.
The next day at school when they were doing science everybody wanted to be Ayesha’s partner but Somaya wouldn’t let anybody be her partner Somaya would threaten to hit them if they were her partner, but Ranyia didn’t care she would just tell Mrs. Jillian if Somaya hit her. When it was break time Ayesha went to play with all the other kids, but Somaya wouldn’t let her just when Ayesha was about to leave Raniya stopped her. Raniya told Ayesha that being scared of Somaya didn’t help her she had to stick up for her own rights, so Ayesha went back and she didn’t care either she didn’t have to listen to what Somaya said she was allowed to play with anybody. When Somaya saw Ayesha she was furious just when Somaya was about to burst the bell rang.
On Friday Somaya was really mad at Ayesha so she stole somebody’s money and hid it in Ayesha’s bag. When they realized their money was stolen Somaya told them that Ayesha stole it, then they would look in Ayesha’s bag and they found the money in her bag so they wouldn’t talk to her. Somaya kept on doing this and each time Ayesha was losing more and more and more friends.
Ayesha had haven enough over the weekend Ayesha had formed a plan. She was going to catch Somaya on camera and she was going to show everybody that she did not steal their money she was going to prove it. On Monday Ayesha brought two cameras to school and hid them in the class. She pressed record and left the room she waited until Somaya came.
Ayesha Huda Somaya
When first period ended everybody left the class except Somaya. Somaya waited until everybody left the class so she could steal something else from someone’s desk to put in Ayesha’s bag but she had no clue that she was on camera. After she stole Huda’s diary from her desk and put it in Ayesha’s bag, she left the class to have her lunch. She told Huda, I saw Ayesha steal your diary and put it in her bag. When the bell went everybody went into the class Huda told the teacher that Ayesha stole my diary. The teacher checked Ayesha’s bag and found the diary, just when the teacher was about to give a punishment to Ayesha, Ayesha said, I want to tell you something before you punish me. Then Ayesha showed the footage to the teacher and the teacher was shocked. Then the teacher talked to Somaya why she has done that? Somaya confessed that she was jealous of Ayesha that everybody wants to be her friend who made her insecure that all of her classmates are leaving her and going to Ayesha. Somaya was ashamed for her actions and was very apologetic to Ayesha and her class fellows. Ayesha hugged Somaya and said, “Dear you are very brave to confess what you have done”. As it takes lots of courage to admit and now onwards we all are good friends.
