Stick and Shape Castle- Creative Activity for Kids

February 13, 2018 By Ayesha Marfani-Muslim Author Leave a Comment

Using everyday products to create amazing crafts is fun. See how I used the toothpicks to make an amazing castle and then turn it into a cool game.

Material:

  • Toothpicks
  • Card sheets
  • Pencil
  • Scissor
  • Glue
  • Toddlers’ paints and brush
  • Glittered sheets

Method:

First of all, draw some shapes.Cut these shape out.

Let the child stick the toothpicks on them

Fascinate your child by allowing to paint the shapes in different colors.

Allow the child apply the glue and then arrange shapes to make a new picture. We made the stick castle.

Add more colors to the pictures. Now cut different shapes from the glittered sheet and allow the kid to paste them.

The beautiful stick and shapes castle is ready, and so is a shape hunt game.

You can ask your child to find the circles, ovals, squares, rectangles, and triangles in the picture.
